After discovering my passion for nutrition and health, I completed my Masters of Science in Nutrition with a Biochemical focus at the University of Texas at Austin. Since then I have worked as a clinical nutrition researcher and clinical nutritionist where I created diet plans based on the most current scientific literature for patients with: • Cancer • Diabetes, • Cardiovascular disease, • Crohn's disease, • Ulcerative Colitis, • Obesity • Anemia, • Irritable bowel syndrome, • Eosinophilic esophagitis, • Celiac disease • Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. I like to approach health from four different angles; nutrition, exercise, stress management and sleep. I am adamant about using scientifically proven methods for each of these pillars of health. According to my experience and the scientific literature there is no one diet or form of exercise that is perfect for everyone. Genetics, lifestyle choices, environment, disease, stress and even past traumas have been shown to impact how our bodies metabolize food and respond to exercise. Nutrition and health changes have been shown to be very effective for almost all diseases and goals, but only when consistently adhered to for a long period of time. With this knowledge it is essential to create a diet and health plan based on the individual life of each patient, not only based on their health history, but also based on what is achievable in their current life. I look forward to working with you to find the best solutions that fit into your life.
