Monika Andrea Minaroy

I am a life coach trained in transformative coaching with ANIMÁS, with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University, the Netherlands. I worked as a psychologist l, until a series of moves across borders meant starting over and rebuilding my career each time. I was born in Jakarta, moved to Europe to study, and have since lived in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and now Italy. As a trailing spouse and mother of two boys growing up in a household of three languages and two cultures, I know what it feels like when life abroad is adventurous on the outside yet overwhelming on the inside. I work with expats mothers, trailing spouses, and anyone navigating the particular kind of lost that comes with living far from home. The questions that don't have easy answers: Who am I here, outside of being someone's partner or someone's parent? What happened to the career I put down somewhere along the way? Why do I feel so lonely in a city full of people? These are not problems you can Google. They're too specific to explain to people back home, too complicated to raise with friends here, too tender to fully admit even to yourself. My sessions will provide you a calm, judgement-free space where you can slow down, think out loud, and hear yourself more clearly. Initial appointment: 30 minutes, free, no strings attached.
