About

I am a psychology graduate, currently volunteering as a tennis coach and an assistant teacher. who uses a strongly person‑centred and strengths‑based approach to support children and young people in building confidence, resilience, and healthy coping strategies. In my current coaching work, I focus on emotional wellbeing as much as performance, using encouragement, reflective questioning, and calm communication to help clients manage pressure and develop a positive mindset—skills that transfer directly to structured online therapy sessions. Previously, I ran my own business (2020–2022), which deepened my understanding of human behaviour, motivation, and decision‑making in real‑world contexts. Alongside this, experience in retail and export gave me regular contact with people from different cultures and backgrounds, strengthening my ability to build rapport quickly, adapt my communication style, and remain respectful and non‑judgmental with clients worldwide. I have volunteered with vulnerable children since 2016, which has given me insight into the impact of adversity, stigma, and ongoing stress on mental health, and the importance of consistent, empathetic support. In 2024–2025, I served as Wellbeing Officer for my tennis team, supporting peers with stress, work‑life balance, and problem‑solving; this role involved active listening, maintaining confidentiality, and signposting appropriately, closely mirroring the relational skills required for safe and effective online therapy. Across these roles, I have developed strong skills in active listening, containment, and clear communication in 1‑to‑1 and group settings. I am comfortable working independently in virtual environments and am committed to evidence‑informed, ethical practice that prioritises client safety and empowerment, aligning with MantraCare’s mission to provide accessible, personalised online therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and stress.
