Christina Nancy Poole

I have worked within Employment settings for over 20 years. I have worked with people facing multiple barriers to employment: long-term unemployment, medical, ex-offenders, lone parents, English as a second language, refugees, skills gaps and disabilities. I have worked mainly in corporate settings, building and delivering multiple workshops that centre around employability, from general CV building to interview skills, to career planning, confidence building and skills development to sector-specific roles. I have trained and developed managers through leadership and management training, and I have written and delivered courses for people wanting to build their careers within recruitment. Separately, outside of work, I deliver workshops on mindfulness and wellbeing, helping people who suffer from anxiety, stress and confidence issues. I have developed workshops to support and help with life coaching, along with career coaching, which go hand in hand. I am doing additional courses, and recently qualified in counselling, and I am now learning and will gain a certificate in Advanced Conversational Therapy. I have also gained an Art Therapy qualification. Although I have stepped outside of the field, and currently focus on Sales/ Customer Excellence and leadership roles within Recruitment, my passion lies in helping people progress in their personal lives and careers, hence why I coach people outside of my normal job. I am aiming to do this full-time with a company, so my reach is bigger. I am highly proactive, organised and passionate about what I do. I will always go above a beyond, as it is in my nature.
