Sergio Salimbeni

Sergio D. Salimbeni – Academic and Professional Sergio Salimbeni is an Electronics Engineer (UTN), holds a Master’s degree in Administration (dual degree USAL–DEUSTO), a PhD in Administration (Atlantic University), and a PhD in Industrial Engineering (UNLZ). He also holds Postgraduate Specialisations in Project Management (UTN) and Quality Management (UTN). He is currently Director of the Research Institute of Art, Architecture and Technology at USAL, and a postdoctoral Professor and Researcher in Industry 5.0 and sustainable production at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. He teaches Operations Research II and Simulation Systems in the Faculty of Engineering, and General Management in the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences. He has over 25 years’ experience in business development, project and process management, with extensive managerial experience in companies. Throughout his professional career, he has held various technical and managerial roles in multinational corporations, ultimately overseeing operations for South America. He is the author of scientific and general-interest publications, a speaker at national and international conferences, and a member of the Project Management Institute, the International Institute of Business Analysis, and the Association of Business Process Management Professionals.
