As a therapist, teaching and coaching is a natural part of the process of eliciting the best in people. This is what I strive for. I think that everyone needs not just an expert but someone who holds out hope for something better even though the client cannot see it themselves. Holding a larger vision and the belief that a client can achieve it is so vital in the change process. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach, so bringing multiple years of experience in various life setting is an important variable for a client to consider. Just like its not enough for a teacher to know the subject, they have to know how to impart that knowledge in a way that a student can engage, absorb and gain mastery. It is my job to customize the approach to my client, and having a broad based experience in the real world helps me do that for my clients. I think it is a privilege to be able to help my clients in a way that empowers them to have their best life.
