As a coach, I studied pupils and students in understanding themselves better, finding out their values and interests in life, and making choices regarding their study or career path. As a psychologist, I did intakes and gave therapy to young adults with a mental disorder, focused on their 'extraordinary experiences', which are symptoms that are seen as preliminary symptoms in the development of a psychosis. These treatments were mainly based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles.
